Description

This 13000 W full-range amp isn’t for everyone. If you want a monster music demo build, but can’t sacrifice precious space for multiple amplifiers, the U1-13K is definitely for you.

With 13,000 watts from a single channel at 1Ω, this amp is for the audio aficionado striving for stand-out music demos no matter where they play.

This is amplifier is for those with electrical upgrades beyond stock electrical charging systems. Even with that huge number out front, this is not designed as one-note “burp” competition amplifier. If you are competing in musical classes with amplifier limitations, the solution is here.

Drive any 6 HDX4 Series Subwoofer or any 9 HDX3 Series Subwoofers from a single U1-13000.

Disclaimer: This amplifier will hurt feelings, passengers, and possibly relationships with your neighbors. It requires voltage between 12 and 14.8. Failure to feed it that voltage will result in a lit up protect light, return shipping, and the cost of repairs.

Made for Music

Unlike our monoblock amplifiers, Utility Series amplifiers will drive the full frequency range of music to more than just subwoofers. As a 1-ohm stable full-range amp, you can power subs, mids, or highs. The only limitation is the power handling and impedance of the speakers you’re driving.

Versatile filtering and crossover settings let you power and tune a variety of system designs. Because of their high output and small footprint, Utility Series full-range amplifiers are ideal for extreme “ground pounder” daily driver setups, or strictly music demo systems. On the other hand, Utility Series amps can’t handle competition burps.

Knowing the specs of your charging system is crucial to running a full-range amplifier. We do not recommend running the Utility series on stock electrical charging systems. Alternator upgrades, the Big 3 wiring upgrade, and added battery capacity will help avoid damaging drops in voltage and/or current. The U Series Amplifiers require between 12-14.8 V from the charging system. AGM 12V batteries will work well. Lithium batteries that don’t require high voltage are also a good choice when running a full-range amp.

Water and electricity don’t mix

U Series Amplifiers do not have an IP rating. You should completely avoid submersion and/or saltwater environments. The amp casing doesn’t have sealed edges to keep water out. However, the circuit board has a water resistant coating to protect against humidity or  very small amounts of incidental moisture.
